The Farmhouse Story…
While it took years of visions and preparations, The Farmhouse opened in 2017. Steve Gonzales has been working in the restaurant business since he was first employed in high school. He has done every job required from bussing to managing in the restaurant industry. He met his wife E’Lisa while they were both employed at a local steakhouse, which he later went on to manage.
Steve’s Story…
Being a family man, he wanted to be off in the evenings, affording him the quality time needed to be an excellent husband and father. He opened and managed a breakfast/lunch restaurant for 4 years, dreaming of one day owning his own. The time finally came, and his family and friends rallied beside him as he and E’Lisa opened The Farmhouse.
Because Steve and E’Lisa both grew up in Lubbock, they know what Lubbockites look for in an eating establishment. They have the details down, the recipes tweaked, the ambiance set, the staff prepared, and are ready to make their customers leave with bellies that are full and faces that are smiling!
